A website I am building for a customer, needs to be able to send a varying number of e-mails. Occasionally it may be necessary to send 200 or more emails.

I have several questions on this:

1. Using the Decorator plugin to personalise the messages. But how do I combine this with either Antiflood or Throttler or both of these, or with other ways of batchwise sending (cf. option 4 below)?

2. What is, in this respect, the essential difference between Antiflood and Throttler?

3. How do any of these plugins affect the effective script execution time usage (considering the maximum allowed execution time)?

4. As the customer also wants to be able to afterwards see the messages sent, I will store them in the database. So an alternative for these plugins might be to first store the messages in the database, and then using a cronjob to send them batchwise. Is it wise way to do it this way, or am I to expect other problems?
