trouble installing php-gd on Fedora 8

Hello All,

One of our users needs php-gd installed. We are running Fedora 8 with php-5.2.5-6, and I have tried several versions of php-gd--none seem to be compatible with this version of php (I've tried 5.2.4-3, 5.2.5-7.fc9, and 5.2.6-2.fc8). I would prefer not to go outside of our normal package repositories for Fedora 8 for php itself--is there any way to get the php-gd functionality with our current version of php?

Are fedora hats ok for a guy to wear in high school? Most of my male friends say they are for girls or gay men. I am white with black hair I was planning on buying a black fedora(maybe with a white stripe) would that be ok to wear as a sophomore?
