5. Most Peculiar - Hockey (fret + skill + asking the same question too many times = teh weird ;))
6. IATM (I Am The Manual) -
7. Friendliest - Everah (... is everahwhere around)
8. Funniest - Kieran
9. Most Inspirational - arborint (the fact that he knows much doesn't stop him from wanting to learn more ... :bows)
10. Best Avatar - Weirdan (Image) I have no idea what it is, but it always catches my eye
11. Most Thorough Response -
12. Best Signature - Another vote for onion2k's XML sig (although I move that you can't win if you're not using it ... hint hint) Second best - at the bottom of this post 8)

Here's my take, I don't follow many of the boards outside Security and Theory, so I can't judge most of the categories. At least I didn't miss it this year, although a notice in the General forum would maybe have helped me to see it earlier. I generally skim over the anchored posts, and was largely surprised to see that one there.

Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.
