Sorry about the outage folks. We aren't entirely sure what went down, but our host was able to stop the main problem quickly. Unfortunately, one of us admins wasn't able to get to a computer to fix the database afterward.

I was so lost without the DevNet! ;_;

It keeps me on track when I work. I ended up wasting most of the day playing Oblivion (which I've had for like a year, and haven't even started the main storyline... Maybe I should just get it over with).

I'll add my thanks to feyd and all the other guys who donate their time and skills to making this forum so useful! As to the outage, just don't let it happen again! :P

Which reminds me, a friend of mine is doing a pro bono job for the nearby USGS office, on a database of all the several thousand sensors, data collectors, etc. from seismic probes in the Western U.S. He told me that the sign over one of the office doors is "SHIFT HAPPENS!"

Menlo Park. I take it you're in SoCal, I'm in NorCal.
